Celebrate spring with an activity-packed day at Hortulus Farm Nursery & Gardens, "one of Pennsylvania's hidden treasures."
- Take a rare free self-guided tour (between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.) of Hortulus's
30 acres of stunning formal and woodland gardens.
- Enjoy a guided tour of the Hortulus Farm Museum, a 19th century barn housing
an impressive collection of Bucks County impressionists and antique garden
books and tools (museum admission: $8).
- Enjoy any of three expert speakers:
- 11:00 a.m.—Hortulus Farm co-owner and landscape designer Renny Reynolds discusses the history, development and future of Hortulus Farm
- 1:00 p.m.—National Wildlife Federation's Hans Riemann presents "Living in Harmony with Our Natural Habitats—Native Plants around Your Home and Workscape"
- 3:00 p.m.—Hortulus Farm co-owner and leading vegetable expert Jack Staub discusses vegetable choices and garden design in "Vegetable Gardening 101"
