A Very Aldie Christmas

At Christmas at Aldie, over 200 community members joined us to kick off the holiday season and celebrate our natural and historic heritage. This fundraising dinner sells out every year, and we are excited to share that it booked up this year earlier in the season than in any year previous.

Historic Aldie Mansion’s festive décor set the stage for holiday cheer and excitement while cocktail hour brought new friends together with old ones in honor of a shared passion for conservation. Heritage Conservancy’s mission is successful because of a caring community, and throughout the night, we let them know how appreciative we are!

To close the evening, the Central Bucks East Select Choir caroled from the Great Hall balcony for guests seated down below. Nearly 75 years ago, the famed von Trapp family of The Sound of Music sang from this same balcony during a Mercer Christmas party, and it is a beloved component of Christmas at Aldie to continue this tradition.

Our guests left at the end of the night with a greater appreciation of Heritage Conservancy’s work in our community. Proceeds from Christmas at Aldie support our organization’s mission of preserving and protecting the natural and historic heritage of Bucks and Montgomery counties.

Sponsorship helps to make it all possible! Thank you to all of our sponsors, including the following Presenting sponsors: Cross Keys Place Shopping Center, Fox Rothschild LLP, Jeffrey A. Miller Catering, Penn Color Inc., Thompson Lexus Doylestown, and Wilmington Trust.
