b'YOUR COMPASSIONATECOMMUNITYYOUR SUPPORT; OUR IMPACT.Heritage Conservancy is fortunateto have such a strong base of caring supporters to make our mission possible. The following spread highlights a handful of those people who make it possible.Remembering with Grateful HeartsThree of Heritage Conservancys long-term board membersRobert L. Byers (Byers Choice LTD.), Sydney F. Martin (The SYSTEX Group, Inc.), and Jack Thompson (The Thompson Organization)passed away this year. They were each dedicated to making this community a better place through their philanthropy and advocacy for many non-profit organizations in the area. They will be missed, and their legacies and the positive impact they made will live on.Bob and Joyce Byers Syd and Sharon Martin Jack and Lorraine ThompsonI grew up in Horsham, PA, on Norristown Road. As a young girl, I played every day in the woods behind our house, woods across the street, and woods down the streetToday, that road is very commercial. In 1992, I met Adele Warden Paxson, who became a great friend. She taught meso much about preservation, horses and opera. What a wonderful way to learn all about preservation from someone who walked the talk quite effectively. And then along came Lamberto Bentivogliowhen we met in 2010, we both walked every weekend in parks in the local area, talking about everything that was important tousincluding recreational space, clean water and a respect for the environment. .During this time of stress for everyone and the environment, we take pleasure incontinuing to take walks and think about a much better environment and people helping other people, which is what Heritage Conservancy is all about. We will continue to support the mission of Heritage Conservancy, and we are looking forward to again enjoying the(Christmas at Aldie, 2019) Conservancys Christmas at Aldie celebration.Barbara Donnelly Bentivoglio and Dr. Lamberto Bentivoglio10'
