DESCRIPTION:Join us this August at Russell-Mandel Preserve for a summer celebration of pollinators\, plants\, and creativity! This is an exclusive event for our current members and we’re offering three different activities\, with two sessions each. There is a capacity limit for each session\, so register or join today! \nPollinator Tours – 5:30 pm & 6:25 pm \nJoin Heritage Conservancy experts for a guided tour of the five-acre pollinator meadow at Russell-Mandel Preserve. Learn about the native plants\, butterflies\, bees\, and other pollinators that call the meadow home\, and discover how healthy habitats support biodiversity and ecosystem health. Along the way\, you’ll gain insight into meadow management\, conservation practices\, and simple ways to create pollinator-friendly spaces in your own backyard. \nNature Journaling with Jane Ramsey – 5:30 pm & 6:25 pm \nJoin Bucks County artist Jane Ramsey for a relaxing and creative exploration of nature through journaling. Using the sights\, sounds\, and textures of Russell-Mandel Preserve as inspiration. Participants will learn simple techniques for capturing observations through sketching and written reflection. Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply enjoy spending time outdoors\, this session offers a unique opportunity to slow down\, look closely\, and experience nature in a new way. \nNative Plant Container Gardening with Jackie Chapman from The Garden Girl Company 5:30 pm & 6:25 pm\nGet your hands dirty and discover how easy it is to support pollinators at home! Join Jackie Chapman of The Garden Girl Company for a hands-on container gardening workshop featuring native plants. DESCRIPTION:August 29\, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm\nRussell-Mandel Preserve\, New Hope \nDiscover how small changes can create a big impact for pollinators and our local environment. Meet us at Russell-Mandel Preserve to learn how we created a thriving meadow ecosystem. We’ll walk the site together\, discuss the installation process\, and answer your questions about starting your own pollinator garden. This event is designed to empower landowners with the knowledge and confidence to cultivate habitat on their properties while highlighting Heritage Conservancy as a trusted resource for meadow creation. \nRegistration required: $10 for Members\, $15 for Non-Members.  Register HERE. \nHeritage Conservancy proudly partners with Art Reach ACCESS\, which provides $2 admission to over 80 cultural sites throughout Greater Philadelphia and Delaware for individuals receiving public assistance for food or medical benefits. See registration for more details. \nCancellation Policy:\nEvents may be cancelled due to inclement weather\, insufficient registration\, or other factors. If this occurs\, we will update our website and notify registrants as promptly as possible. \nHeritage Conservancy is not able to offer refunds for cancelled events.
