Earth Day Pledge

Earth Day Pledge

In honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in 2020, Heritage Conservancy and the Bucks County Herald partnered to bring together organizations in our community for a collective civic action that focuses on “Protecting Our Local Waterways.”

Earth Day is a mindset, and we want to get YOU involved in your daily life! You can make a positive difference for the environment just by making a small change; small changes make a big difference. Celebrate Earth Day every day by signing the pledge below.

Take the Individual or Business pledge below to commit to making a positive impact for the environment in your daily life!

Individual Pledge

  • I pledge to join the Earth Day "Protecting Our Local Waterways" initiative by making at least one change in my daily life that will help protect our local waterways. (i.e.—reducing pesticide usage, reducing single-use plastics, planting native plants and trees in yard, etc.)

Business Pledge

  • (Business Name) pledges to join the Earth Day "Protecting Our Local Waterways" initiative by making at least one change within our company's practices that will help protect our local waterways. (i.e.—reducing single-use plastics around the office, changing light bulbs to be more energy-efficient, installing a water cooler to reduce plastic water bottle usage, etc.)

Visit our website’s Calendar of Events for a list of upcoming opportunities to get involved, including a Croydon Woods Nature Preserve Cleanup on Saturday, April 18th. Look in the Herald issue on April 16th for a full list of our community’s Earth Day activities.
