**POSTPONED** Mushrooms of Heritage Conservancy Virtual Q&A

July 25, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

**POSTPONED**
Saturday, July 25th

10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Location: Zoom!

Luke Smithson, lifelong mushroom enthusiast and past president of the New Jersey Mycological Association, offers his expertise and answers the questions you have always had about the mushrooms you come across locally. Are they poisonous? What value do they provide to us? To our environment? Join us for this unique opportunity!

Follow our posts on Facebook! Beginning July 13th, Luke will be providing preliminary videos of mushrooms found on Heritage Conservancy properties. We encourage you to visit the properties yourselves to experience these beautiful habitats for yourself safely (Please leave behind what you find–don’t remove natural materials or wildlife) and submit any questions you may have to Sarah Rosato at srosato@heritageconservancy.org before the Q&A Session.

DISCLAIMER: Many mushrooms are extremely poisonous and even lethal. Additionally, they provide benefits that are needed for these particular habitats to thrive. Please do not eat or remove any of the mushrooms, or any other plant or animal life, from the properties that you visit.

Recommended for ages 12+. $5 for Heritage Conservancy members; $10 for non-members. If you have any questions, contact Sarah at srosato@heritageconservancy.org.
