Heritage Conservancy’s Hart’s Woods Preserve

An old-growth forest is a forest that has attained great age without significant disturbance and thereby exhibits unique ecological features. The Old-Growth Network, whose mission is to create a national network of protected old-growth forests, is dedicating our protected Hart’s Woods Preserve as part of its network!

Heritage Conservancy and Doylestown Township’s Environmental Advisory Council, which each own a parcel of the forest, are co-hosting the Old-Growth Forest Network dedication of Hart’s Woods. Join us for this special occasion and enjoy guided trail walks to explore both the woods within Heritage Conservancy’s Preserve and Central Park. There will be a reception with light fare following the tours.
