SCHOOL PROGRAMS IN LOWER BUCKS
Our nature education programs serve about 3,000 local students a year in Bucks County. Our outdoor classroom and Motus wildlife tracking tower are part of a special partnership with Keystone Elementary. Classroom and afterschool programs serve all ages in Lower Bucks, teaching kids to love and care for nature.
BRISTOL AND LEVITTOWN LIBRARIES
We join local partners like Grundy Library to host public programs, and we offer nature explorer backpacks for loan through Lower Bucks libraries with gear to help families explore local nature.
CROYDON WOODS
We own and maintain Croydon Woods Nature Preserve, one of PA’s last remaining coastal plain forests. With volunteer support we have reclaimed these once-blighted woods and created an inviting public oasis with shady trails, a community mural, and play equipment.
GROWING LAND CONSERVATION IN BUCKS
We have helped protect 13,127 acres of natural land, scenic views, and open space in Bucks County — land protected permanently. And we are not done yet! We have about 26 projects in the pipeline in Bucks County alone for a total of over 1350 new acres of land we can protect.

“In these challenging times for our heritage, roots, and environment it is more important than ever to be diligent stewards of our land. Preservation of our local environment for present and future generations is essential. The Mission of the Heritage Conservancy focuses on this very objective, and they are an integral partner in assuring this preservation. A gift to the Heritage Conservancy is a gift to our family – a gift that keeps on giving for generations to come. So please join me in contributing to the Heritage Conservancy and help perpetuate this legacy.”
