Ways to Get Involved as an Individual

We need people like you to help us protect, preserve, and share the natural spaces and history that make our region special. If you’re looking to make friends, learn, and have a direct impact on our mission, we want you to join our volunteer team!

From tree planting, gardening, and other outdoor activities to holiday decorating and event preparation, there are a variety of ways for you to make a difference today. Whether you can join us for a single day or want to volunteer on an ongoing basis, there’s a place for you on our team.

You can also share your talents in other ways by helping with mailings, photography, committee positions, and more — just ask!

Bill Kunze, Heritage Conservancy President and CEO

“Fridays in the Forest” with Heritage Conservancy has been a retirement dream-come-true. Working to help the environment, spending time in the woods, learning from experts like Tyler and Jim, and developing friendships with fellow conservationists — what more could I want? Opportunities to participate in community science projects, whether counting bats or searching for macro-invertebrates, are a welcome bonus. I’m delighted to have Heritage Conservancy as part of my life.
