A Fond Farewell to Katie Paone-Kulp

After 14 years with Heritage Conservancy, Katie Paone-Kulp is saying goodbye. Katie started with the organization as an intern and worked her way up to Director of Development, pouring herself into the role for over a decade, building donor relationships, running engagement programs and special events, and helping grow support for our mission across the community.

Katie was deeply dedicated to our mission and worked hard to help Heritage Conservancy succeed. Over her 14 years, she built fantastic, lasting relationships with our supporters and played a huge part in shaping Heritage Conservancy into the organization it is today.

“Katie has been at the heart of what we do for 14 years,” says President Bill Kunze. “While it’s hard to imagine Heritage Conservancy without Katie, her impact will last beyond her, in the team she led and the culture of philanthropy she helped build.”

Katie is leaving for an exciting new opportunity, and while we’re sad to see her go, we’re incredibly proud of everything she’s accomplished here. She will be deeply missed.

In her farewell message to staff, Katie wrote: “It has been SUCH a pleasure to work with this amazing team. I am so proud to have been part of such an amazing mission for 14 years and all of the impact that will last for generations for this community.”

Though she’s moving on, Katie isn’t going far. She’s already said she plans to stay involved with Heritage Conservancy as a member, volunteer, and event attendee, so don’t be surprised if you spot her at an event down the road.
