A Vibrant Celebration of Nature at Pollinator Palooza 2024

What a day we had at Pollinator Palooza! Our amazing partners and volunteers turned the event into a vibrant celebration of nature, creativity, and community.

Kids at the Lego table had a blast building their own aquatic worlds, crafting everything from bugs to plants and imagining their very own ecosystems. Nearby, our hand-blown glass artist dazzled everyone with beautiful bowls inspired by the shapes of flowers, adding a touch of elegance to the day.

The Rainbow Room was a hit with its trivia game and prize wheel, exploring Queerness in nature in a fun and engaging way.

NAMI made a big impact with their kindness rocks, paint pens, and superhero masks, empowering youth to tackle mental health challenges with confidence.

The Master Watershed Stewards engaged kids with an interactive sand model, demonstrating how activities near waterways affect local streams. Meanwhile, Bowman’s Hill wowed visitors with a beautiful display of native plants and shared why they’re so important for our environment.

Attendees found their zen with The Art of Living, who guided guests through breathing exercises, meditation, and yoga sessions by the peaceful Jackson Pond.

Our Heritage Conservancy staff and volunteers were busy giving personalized tours of our pollinator meadow, sharing cool butterfly facts at the live caterpillar table, and hosting friendly competitions at Junk Jettison, Giant Connect Four, and Bee’n Bag Toss.

Food lovers enjoyed tasty treats from The Sandwich Connection, and Kona Ice kept everyone cool with refreshing flavors. As the day wrapped up, guests had a chance to win exciting prizes and take home some fantastic swag from our Prize table.

A huge thank you to everyone who made Pollinator Palooza a day to remember. Your enthusiasm and participation made it truly special. We can’t wait to see you next year for even more fun and discovery!
