Central Bucks County

Support conservation in your backyard. Join your neighbors and get us to our $100k goal!

LOCAL PARTNERS IN BUCKS CONSERVATION

We partner with Bucks County Community College to host a Motus wildlife tracking tower that feeds data to global conservation scientists and fuels classroom learning for our next generation of biologists.

TRAILS, MEADOWS & REFORESTATION

We have planted 500 trees and 15 new acres of pollinator meadow in Central Bucks in 2025 alone, including a new meadow and public walking trail at our Russell-Mandel Nature Preserve near New Hope. We converted a corn field to a 15-acre pollinator meadow at our preserve in Jamison too. And our meadow at Jackson Pond Preserve is thriving.

HISTORY & CONSERVATION AT ALDIE

Why we have married conservation and historic preservation at Aldie, where we preserve the artistic legacy of the Mercers while maintaining pollinator habitat and native plants on the grounds. Aldie is one of over 700 local treasures on our Register of Historic Places.

PROTECTING FARMS AND OPEN SPACE IN BUCKS

We have helped protect 13,127 acres of natural land, scenic views, and open space in Bucks County — land protected permanently. And we are not done yet! We have about 26 projects in the pipeline in Bucks County alone for a total of over 1350 new acres of land we can protect.

Join Michael J. Daley, PhD, in supporting Heritage Conservancy:

“In these challenging times for our heritage, roots, and environment it is more important than ever to be diligent stewards of our land. Preservation of our local environment for present and future generations is essential. The Mission of the Heritage Conservancy focuses on this very objective, and they are an integral partner in assuring this preservation. A gift to the Heritage Conservancy is a gift to our family – a gift that keeps on giving for generations to come. So please join me in contributing to the Heritage Conservancy and help perpetuate this legacy.”
