Christmas at Aldie Recap

There is no better way to wrap up the year than by welcoming friends back to Aldie Mansion!

On December 5th, at limited capacity, our fully vaccinated guests gathered at Heritage Conservancy’s Aldie Mansion for our annual Christmas at Aldie fundraiser gala. Built in 1927, historic Aldie made the perfect backdrop to emphasize our mission to preserve and protect our natural and historic heritage.

Aldie’s festive decor set the stage for holiday cheer and excitement while cocktail hour brought new friends together with old ones in honor of a shared passion for conservation. Together, we celebrated our common goal of making the world a better place for generations to come by protecting our area’s natural and historic treasures.

Our dedicated committee helped to highlight how truly beautiful nature is while promoting sustainability. The lavish decor consisted of natural greens from Heritage Conservancy’s properties, including the bamboo in the ballroom windows and the impressive 2-story Christmas tree in the Great Hall.

After the holiday-themed cocktail party and delicious dinner prepared by Jeffrey A. Miller Catering, our guests enjoyed joyful performances by the Central Bucks East Select Choir and the Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia. The von Trapp family of The Sound of Music once caroled during a Christmas party held in the 1940s, and we appreciate both choirs for helping us keep the tradition alive!

At the end of the night, our guests left with a greater appreciation for Heritage Conservancy’s work in our community. Proceeds from the event directly support our organization’s mission of preserving and protecting the natural and historic heritage of Bucks County and its surrounding regions.

If you were in attendance, we hope that you enjoyed the merriment and festivities of the evening as much as we did! Our mission is successful because of a caring and generous community, and we love opportunities such as this to be able to share our appreciation for our supporters. In addition to our guests, we received incredible support from those who could not join us, including our business sponsors, members who wrote messages for the program book, and our angel groups.

Our sponsors help to make it all possible. This year’s Presenting Sponsors were:
