Join us for a fascinating walk through the woods as we explore the hidden connections beneath our feet and above our heads! Led by Conservation Easement Steward Sebastian Harris and local mycologist Luke Smithson, this guided hike will uncover the remarkable relationship between mushrooms and trees—and how they work together to support healthy ecosystems.
Along the way, you’ll learn how to identify common mushrooms and native tree species, while gaining a deeper understanding of the ecological partnerships that sustain our forests. From towering canopies to the intricate world of fungi below, this walk will change the way you see the natural world.
Come curious—leave with a new appreciation for the living networks that connect it all.
