On a perfect summer evening beneath a blue June sky, guests gathered at the picturesque Russell-Mandel Preserve to celebrate and support Heritage Conservancy’s mission. Our annual Farm to Table fundraiser offered not just a beautiful view, but an opportunity to experience the impact of preservation that their generosity makes possible.
Thanks to our supporters, this year’s event raised over $180,000! These essential funds help to ensure our ongoing efforts in land conservation, historic preservation, environmental education, and community engagement across Bucks, Montgomery, and Northampton counties.
The Russell-Mandel Preserve serves as the perfect backdrop for the evening, featuring native gardens, a historic farmhouse, barn, and a recently installed 5-acre pollinator meadow and trail, telling the story of what conservation in action looks like.
Prior to the event, sponsors were treated to an intimate gathering with signature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a guided tour of the vibrant pollinator meadow. Volunteer Paula Walter and Land Conservation Manager Jim Drennan shared how this vital habitat of native plants plays a critical role in sustaining biodiversity and strengthening our local ecosystems.
As guests arrived, they were welcomed by live bluegrass music from Wood Flower and enjoyed beverages from local partners — Doan Distillery, Manoff Market Cidery, and Warwick Farm Brewing. Heritage Conservancy staff led tours of the native gardens, giving guests a hands-on connection to the land their generosity helps protect.
Local artist Jane Ramsey captured the view, en plein air watercolor, one of two auction items she donated. The 2025 Farm to Table auction set a new event record, raising crucial funds for conservation projects across our region.
Under the dinner tent, taking in views of preserved farmland, guests enjoyed a fresh, seasonal meal by sponsor Jamie Hollander Catering & Events. 60 guests answered the call to support our Mission Appeal, investing in protecting the natural beauty and historic character of our community.
“We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported this incredible evening,” said Liz Barmach, Heritage Conservancy’s Senior Development Associate and the event’s organizer. “Together, we’re protecting the places that matter — for today, and for generations to come.”
