Tyler Kovacs, Heritage Conservancy Conservation Steward, is a biologist who specializes in ecological restoration. Tyler spends his days evaluating the 50+ properties owned by Heritage Conservancy and implementing property management plans customized to each of their unique habitats. With his incredible expertise and sincere enthusiasm for native settings, Tyler’s insights are invaluable in the rapidly growing world of native landscaping. Your winning bid offers an opportunity to welcome Tyler to your property where he will assess your environment, plant a pollinator patch and provide a ‘full’ consultation-complete with recommendations-on what other native plans would enhance and attract the natural world to your own garden.
BEHIND THE SCENES TOUR OF MORRIS RUN: CONSERVATION IN ACTION
Conservancy supporters and landowners Barb Harding and Randy Bimes offer a tour of their picturesque preserve, Morris Run. Your winning bid provides you with the opportunity to visit. Barb and Randy will share their conservation story and provide insight into the maintenance of their beautiful land in Bucks County.
Heritage Conservancy’s Sebastian Harris and Art of Ecology founder Marissa Jacobs will guide your group through the property to identify native shrubs and plants and to visit Barb and Randy’s herd of British White cattle and calves.
Guests will enjoy a picnic-style meal and learn to craft (and enjoy) cocktails using local ingredients. This experience is for a group of up to 10 people.
