Meet Beth Beans Gilbert, Local Business Leader and Supporter

“We are committed to giving back to local organizations, such as the Heritage Conservancy, with the understanding that any investment in our community has ongoing returns, whether through increased economic stability, environmental preservation, cultural vibrancy or empowered community members,” say Beth Beans Gilbert, vice president of the Fred Beans Automotive Group.

Heritage Conservancy is once again honored to receive a contribution from the Fred Beans Automotive Group to support programs that educate and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.

Heritage Conservancy provides free or low-cost educational programs to connect school-aged children with our local natural and historic heritage.

Beth Bean Gilbert accepted a Community Partner award at our 2024 Business Partners Reception, given for the Fred Beans Automotive Group’s ongoing support of Heritage Conservancy and its education programs.

“I realize Heritage Conservancy plays an important role in preserving our land and natural resources and is deserving of support to continue such efforts,” says Beans Gilbert. “I also appreciate the work the Heritage Conservancy does to educate our youth about our region and how to continue preserving and protecting our lands.”

Their recent $50,000 donation came through the automotive group’s participation in Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program, which provides a way for eligible businesses to increase educational opportunities for students while earning tax credits by donating to an organization such as Heritage Conservancy.

In 2024, Heritage Conservancy educators engaged nearly 3,000 students throughout six school districts, while more than 270 educators benefited from teacher workshops. Summer camps, clubs, and hands-on outdoor programming continue to reach more and more young people in Bucks County year after year.

The Fred Beans Charitable Trust supports multiple local nonprofits, and the company has participated in the Pennsylvania EITC program annually since 2011. The family business is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

For Beth Beans Gilbert, who grew up in Bucks County, these contributions help the automotive group “make an impact beyond selling cars.”

“The Pennsylvania EITC program makes it possible for us to set aside significant funds in direct support of education, and we are proud to designate a portion of that funding to Heritage Conservancy,” says Beans Gilbert.
