Heritage Conservancy Educator and Ambassador Training
November 9, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
FreeDo you have a passion for Heritage Conservancy’s mission and want to share it with others? If so, join us as a volunteer educator to inspire students during programs and/or as an ambassador to talk with people of all ages while helping to table at community events. Join us on Wednesday, November 9th to learn about becoming a Heritage Conservancy Volunteer Educator or Ambassador. We will go over the basics of Heritage Conservancy, common questions, and some fun education tools we use in the classroom, at preserves, and at community events.
Volunteer Educators accompany Heritage Conservancy staff to various environmental education programs and trips throughout the year. Some of these programs take place in the classroom, and others might take place at Aldie Mansion or one of our preserves. A Pennsylvania State background check, FBI fingerprinting/child abuse clearances, and Covid-19 vaccination are required for all volunteer educators and must be kept up to date.
Heritage Conservancy Ambassador’s role is to help our staff connect people to and advance our mission throughout Bucks County. A Heritage Conservancy Ambassador will attend various community events hosted by us and our partners throughout the year.
