Late summer/early fall is a beautiful time to visit the gardens at Aldie Mansion. A gorgeous warm glow washes over the mansion’s patterned brick and dances through the trees.

The gardens at the Mansion have evolved over generations, but many of the original elements remain on site, including several fountains, benches, and garden ornaments designed by Henry Mercer’s younger brother, William.

A map will be provided for you to explore the gardens at your own pace during this self-guided tour, and docents will be available to answer any questions along the way.
