Spring Ephemerals Hike
April 19 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

April 19th
Hart’s Woods, Doylestown
Every spring, a miniature forest blooms on the forest floor in the window of warmth and sunlight before the woody giants put out their leaves. Here one season and gone the next – you don’t want to miss them! Spring ephemerals provide unique benefits to wildlife who are emerging from winter with a hungry appetite. For humans emerging from the winter, with a hunger to see green again, these provide a welcome amuse-bouche of beauty.
Join Heritage Conservancy Conservation Easement Steward Sebastian Harris on a hike through Hart’s Woods in Doylestown to identify spring ephemerals. This nature preserve is Heritage Conservancy’s very first preserved property, and its trails wind through a wooded wonderland.
