UPPER BUCKS TRAILS & WILDERNESS
Upper Bucks is scenic and beautiful. We maintain the popular Jere Knight Trail as part of our Fuller-Pursell Nature Preserve, hosting hikers on woodland walks. We also own and protect Quakertown Swamp, a fragile wildlife habitat that also helps mitigate the effects of extreme weather.
PRESERVING BUCKS COUNTY HISTORY
We protect historic farms and buildings in Bucks County with facade easements, and our Register of Historic Places recognizes over 700 local spots that help define the character and beauty of your community.
SCHOOL PROGRAMS IN UPPER BUCKS
We bring science education to Palisades and Quakertown School Districts, part of nature education programs that reach about 3,000 Bucks County students a year. Classroom and afterschool programs serve all ages in Upper Bucks, teaching kids to love and care for nature.
PROTECTING FARMS AND OPEN SPACE IN BUCKS
We have helped protect 13,127 acres of natural land, scenic views, and open space in Bucks County — land protected permanently. And we are not done yet! We have about 26 projects in the pipeline in Bucks County alone for a total of over 1350 new acres of land we can protect.

Join Robb and Nancy Fox in supporting Heritage Conservancy:
“Pennsylvania has a long history of environmental stewardship. Heritage Conservancy follows in that tradition, providing essential education on and preservation of open space. We are passionate about open space preservation. Every study demonstrates that it is not only good for the soul, but it is also an economic driver. People want open space in their communities whether they live in an urban, suburban, or even a rural setting. That is why we support Heritage Conservancy in our community. Now more than ever we need to preserve our natural environment. And Heritage Conservancy is doing just that.”
