Heritage Conservancy staff and board are saddened by the news of the recent passing of former Bucks County Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick.
Below is a statement from Jeff Marshall, Heritage Conservancy’s President:
“From his time as Bucks County Commissioner, Mike Fitzpatrick has been a champion of protecting open spaces. The local legacy that he leaves behind are the thousands of acres of land that are preserved because of the programming and policies that he implemented during his political career. After retiring from public office, Mike chose to continue to advocate for land conservation by joining Heritage Conservancy’s Board of Directors. We appreciate all that he has done to promote the protection of what makes Bucks County special. His leadership, expertise and dedication will be missed by all, and his friendship will be missed by those of us who had the privilege of working with him.”
