Full Wolf Moon Walk & Owl Prowl 🗓

Friday, January 18th
7:30 PM to 8:30/9:00 PM
Heritage Conservancy’s Fuller/Pursell Nature Preserve
in Springfield Township

Some Native Americans referred to the January full moon as the Full Wolf Moon because this was the time of year wolves could be heard howling in hunger outside their villages. Take the rare opportunity to join a guided full moon hike on the Fuller Preserve to listen for owls and other nocturnal creatures that make Fuller their home and hunting grounds! Learn about wildlife’s adaptations to a nocturnal lifestyle and how they survive the cold weather. Be prepared for very cold weather! The hike will be moderate to strenuous. Wear good hiking boots and bring a flashlight but we will not use them the majority of the time. Cloudy weather will cancel.

$5 member / $10 non-members (this can be applied toward membership). Contact Emily at 215-345-7020 ext. 107 or ehart@heritageconservancy.org
