Join us at Columcille Megalith Park, which is protected by a conservation easement held by Heritage Conservancy, for a members-exclusive introduction to the wonders of birding through the fall and winter months.
As you take in the aesthetics of giant megaliths, Sebastian Harris, Heritage Conservancy’s Conservation Easement Steward, will provide a guided hike through the park, pointing out various bird species and their habitats, and introduce the group to helpful apps like eBird, Merlin, and iNaturalist.
This hike is intended for people relatively new to birding, but any member interested is welcome to register.
Recommended items to bring: binoculars, boots, water, and phone.
Guests should arrive between 9:15-9:20
Walk begins at 9:30
Registration is exclusive to members. Complete the form below to register.
