Join us at Hart’s Woods as we plant native trees and shrubs on May 25th, from 10:00AM - 4:00PM. This planting will take place in the same area that we have been working on all year, further strengthening the riparian buffer. A healthy riparian buffer stabilizes eroding streambanks, absorbs excess water runoff, fertilizers, and pesticides, filters sediment, and cools the water temperature, making it more hospitable to a diversity of organisms.
