Heritage Conservancy Joins the Art-Reach ACCESS Program
Heritage Conservancy is now a participating site in the ACCESS Program by Art-Reach, a partnership that makes our programs more affordable for individuals receiving public assistance for food or medical benefits, as well as for people with disabilities more broadly. Starting this month, eligible visitors can attend select Heritage Conservancy programs, most of which take place at our preserves, for just $2 per person.

Eligibility works two ways. If you already have a Pennsylvania or Delaware state-issued ACCESS or EBT card, you’re automatically eligible. There’s no separate ACCESS sign-up or purchase; you just need to register for our program as usual, selecting the ACCESS ticket option instead of regular admission, and bring your state card with you as proof of eligibility. If you don’t have a state-issued card but identify as having a disability, including if you live outside Pennsylvania or Delaware, you can purchase a separate Art-Reach ACCESS Card directly through Art-Reach to receive the same $2 admission. This card is issued by Art-Reach itself, not the state, and exists specifically to extend the discount to people who wouldn’t otherwise qualify through public benefits.
Most Heritage Conservancy programs require registration in advance. When registering online, look for the ACCESS ticket option alongside regular admission, whether you’re using a state card or an Art-Reach card. Bring your card with you to the program itself, as the cardholder must be present to receive the discount.
Bringing guests? You can also add tickets for them (up to 3) for $2 per person during registration. Art-Reach describes its ACCESS Program as one built to make cultural and community spaces more reachable for people who might otherwise find the cost of admission a barrier. Funded in part through the Harvey & Virginia Kimmel Family Fund, the program has grown to include over 80 cultural sites throughout Greater Philadelphia and Delaware. Heritage Conservancy is glad to be one of them.
We believe access to nature and the outdoors shouldn’t depend on what’s in your wallet. Partnering with Art-Reach is one way we’re working to make that true.
