Do you enjoy working outside? Are you interested in gardening? On March 30th, come join us for an orientation to our volunteer Green Thumb Garden Group! We host our Green Thumb Garden Group at Aldie Mansion weekly starting in the spring and going into late fall. Volunteers are offered a flexible weekday schedule. On April 12th and 13th , join us for our Mulch Madness event at Aldie Mansion. We will be spreading over 50 yards of mulch throughout Aldie’s beautiful gardens and we can use your help. Mulching the gardens helps us prepare for the spring and summer ahead, and helps our gardens look their best! Time slots: 9:00AM-12:00PM and/or 1:00PM-4:00PM *Volunteers must pre-register. Native Tree & Shrub Planting at Hart’s Woods

Join us at Hart’s Woods as we plant native trees and shrubs on May 25th, from 10:00AM - 4:00PM. This planting will take place in the same area that we have been working on all year, further strengthening the riparian buffer.
