Our Work in Bucks County

We protect land, preserve history, and inspire the next generation of stewards in Bucks County

Land Conservation in Bucks County

We have helped conserve over 13,000 acres of natural land, farms, and open space in Bucks County — land that is protected permanently. Our project pipeline includes plans to save over 1,200 new acres.

Historic Preservation in Bucks County

We list over 700 Bucks County properties on our Register of Historic Places, including our headquarters, William and Martha Mercer’s historic Aldie Mansion home. Our facade and conservation easements protect important Bucks County structures.

Nature Education in Bucks County Schools

Our education programs serve about 3,000 Bucks County students each year with nature learning, outdoor experiences, and field trips. Our work with kids and teachers (through the Bucks County IU) is educating the next generation to respect and care for the nature of Bucks County.

Community Programs in Bucks County

We partner with local organizations, libraries, and nature centers to share resources and offer programs to the public. We connect with community members at neighborhood events in Doylestown, Bristol, Quakertown, and beyond.
